The number 96 has been tattooed on my wrist since 2015.
It reminds me every day that I was one of the lucky ones who came home from Hillsborough.
Today, standing in Parliament to speak as the Hillsborough Law passed was one of the proudest and most emotional moments of my life.
For the 97. For their families. For every campaigner who never gave up.
This is your legacy.

The landmark Hillsborough Law legislation has now been passed by MPs in the House of Commons.
We would like to reaffirm our enormous admiration, respect and appreciation for all those who have campaigned for the introduction of the Hillsborough Law. The 97, their families and survivors are forever in our thoughts.

@hafiz_ngn When they give that rhetoric I ask myself, when he government then was creating the visa for such jobs when they were in need, did they know it was low wage job and still went ahead to create, as the migrant decided to wake and say give me low pay job and they handed visa for it
@Dayveed_Ade That peace of mind to navigate jobs and endless access to job markets, business and others without visa restrictions is more than any other kind of burden lifted off legal migrants.
@Dayveed_Ade See eh, make them just give the ILR. The rest of the fight we go navigate am cos trust some people just want that burden of visa renewal and stress off their back o, and it will amaze you the exploits they can make without citizenship
@jas_d_barbie Are you teaching him to love you the way you want? maybe look within because a man can only act with the information he finds, if what truly means love to you is being withheld, I’m sorry he can’t find it🥹
