@KarcherGroup @alexandraruiz@AlexaKaye3@AnnamarieNedel1 These businesses to capitalize as much as possible on take out and delivery services since they are losing dine in revenue. Perhaps a fixed ratio or continuous reward system for take out/delivery customers would encourage more patrons #UAkronMarketing#TacoChat
@gabby_fennell@AlexaKaye3 Ads that contain spark happiness with people during these dark times could be particularly effective at striking that balance, while still communicating a message about the product, and proper #COVID related guidelines #UAkronMarketing
@AlexaKaye3@PatrickPyett I remember early on @ChickfilA advertised how they had added the attribute of contact free drive through service. I felt this was a particularly relevant, and effective campaign to communicate the added attribute, and reach consumers #UAkronMarketing#TacoChat
@LeannaBarnhart@AlexaKaye3 We are all aware of the negative sides of the virus at this point and I agree light hearted ads that consumers can relate better to, or feel some happiness from (we could all use some) would be more effective. #UAkronMarketing#TacoChat
@zipscjr96 @AlexaKaye3 A good point. Words such as "pandemic" or "covid" have negative connotations and consumers such as myself are a little tired of hearing them. Avoiding words such as these is a good tool for markets to reach consumers, while not being overbearing. #UAkronMarketing#TacoChat
@AlexaKaye3 A3: There needs to be middle ground. I have noticed I have started to tune out #pandemic related messages as psychological noise, but advertisers still need to acknowledge current times without shoving it down users throats' #UAkronMarketing#TacoChat
@MoDobaishi @AlexaKaye3@Ghostery I personally use @getadblock and with the increased privacy features being added to popular search engines such as Google Chrome and Safari, I don't see users such as myself switching. Google Chrome is already a proven browser as @Ghostery is not #UAkronMarketing#TacoChat
@BurgySandy@AlexaKaye3 I agree. However I believe that there will be a redux in the amount of sales in response to fewer people going back to work. Do you think there are any marketing tactics these companies could use to encourage people to patron their businesses in the AM #UAkronMarketing#TacoChat
@gabby_fennell@AlexaKaye3@McDonalds A good point here. Bigger chains that historically have done better in the breakfast markets are more likely to persist through. What chains do you expect to revert back to not offering breakfast items? #UAkronMarketing#TacoChat
@AlexaKaye3 A1: Behavior will come back to "normal" somewhat. As more people go back to work and offices become more populated again, fast food breakfast will pick up. However, many people will continue working online, which will lead to slow than before sales #UAkronMarketing#TacoChat
