Meet Mr. Dzidefo Afram, a physics teacher at PRESEC Legon, renowned as the only Ghanaian NSMQ Coordinator to have made it to the finals 11 times. Over his nine appearances in the finals, he has secured five trophies and is now aiming to add a sixth for PRESEC. 🧠👀

He is an alumnus of Bishop Herman College who joined the PRESEC NSMQ team in 2004 as a coordinator and has since guided them to 10 Grand Finale appearances.

His trophy haul includes wins in 2006, 2008, 2009, 2020, 2022, and 2023. Notably, he is the only NSMQ Coordinator to reach five consecutive finals from 2019 to 2023 and to achieve back-to-back wins twice—first in 2008 and 2009, then again in 2022 and 2023.

He has also led PRESEC to five consecutive regional championships from 2020 to 2024.

Due to his impressive track record, many refer to him as the Ancelotti of NSMQ.

In 2018, he left PRESEC to join West African SHS, where he took the WASS team to their first-ever NSMQ final.
