A businessman discovered that 3 of his employees were studying and working simultaneously to pay for their education.
He decided to cover all their university expenses and explained that it wasn't a reward for working, but an investment in people who want to grow.
He's not building a company, he's building people. ๐
Marcelo: "When I was a kid my grandfather used to give me money (15 reais) to go train at Flamengo, my family was kind of poor but my grandfather gave me money to pay for my whim of playing football.
"One day at the final training sessions they were going to pick 3 players to be on the team, my grandfather told me that this time he didn't have money for me to go to the last games, he told me he only had 2 reais. I was very sad. In that same bar there was a gaming machine with flags from different teams. I picked the Brazil flag and suddenly the machine landed on the Brazil flag. I had won 40 reais. The machine went crazy, it wouldn't stop giving me money. I remember that day I had hamburgers and juices with my grandfather.
"After several years when I was lucky enough to be at Real Madrid, my first big paycheck I gave all of it, all of it, to my grandfather. After that, every time I go to Brazil I eat at that bar. I will never forget where I come from."
