لا بأس بالتهنئة بالعيد قبل يومه، فهي كتهنئة من دنا زواجه قبل دخوله.
والتهاني من باب العادات، والأصل فيها الإباحة، ولا تختص بوقتٍ معين، بل تكون قبل المناسبة وبعدها.

يوافق عيد الفطر لهذا العام (١٤٤٧ھ) يوم الجمعة، ومن صلى العيد لم تجب عليه الجمعة، وإنما تُستحب له؛ (إلا في حق الإمام، فيجب عليه أن يقيم الجمعة).
ومن لم يصلِّ الجمعة لزمه أن يصليها ظهرًا أربع ركعات.
وقد اجتمع في عهد النبي ﷺ العيد والجمعة، فقال ﷺ:
«قد اجتمع في يومكم هذا عيدان، فمن شاء أجزأه من الجمعة، وإنا مجمعون إن شاء الله».
قال الإمام ابن تيمية:
«لا يُعرف عن الصحابة في ذلك خلاف».
