So I went to this same AP filling station Maitama, this afternoon to buy fuel. One of the attendants recognized me and rushed over, asking for my number and said she wanted to send me 5k airtime. She said the tweet I made about their N10k monthly salary really helped them. Their salary was increased to N71k that same month and has remained stable since then.
Her smile melted my heart. I thanked her for the kind gesture and gave her more money than the 5k airtime she wanted to give me. She didn’t want to accept it, but I insisted.
I’m so happy to be able to make others happy. 💃💃💃
Things we do for love ❤️❤️
This morning, I stopped by AP Filling Station in Maitama, opposite Transcorp, to fuel my car. To my surprise, I noticed the fuel attendants murmuring, so I decided to engage one of them since there weren’t many cars around. I asked what was going on, and the lady told me they had just protested to the management for a salary increase, but their request was rejected.
I gently asked how much they earn monthly, and to my shock, she said they’re paid ₦10,000 per month. I asked if she meant ₦100,000, but she insisted it was ₦10,000. She even called one of her colleagues, and when I asked her, she confirmed it.
Where is the Nigerian Labour Congress when you need them? This is exactly the kind of issue people likes of @sowore, @adeyanjudeji etc should be fighting for, instead of focusing solely on the presidency. Nigerians aren’t even fair to each other.
How do they expect these workers to transport themselves, feed their families, and not be tempted to steal from customers? A big station like Androva Petroleum shouldn’t be paying staff such a disgracefully low salary.
I hope they act fast. I feel genuinely sad for them and pray they get justice as soon as possible.

The Federal Government approved the Iru Ekun Security Network I initiated, yet the Oyo State Government says we cannot proceed without Governor Seyi Makinde’s consent.

"Governor Seyi Makinde knows I have the capacity to rescue the Oriire kidnapping victim, why hasn't he granted me permission? I established 'Iru Ekun' Security Network with FG approval, but state government disapproved" — Sunday Igboho
“I am not asking anyone for money. Governor Seyi Makinde knows I have the capacity to help rescue the kidnapped victims in Oriire, but the question is: why has he not granted me permission?
I established the Iru Ekun Security Network with the approval of the Federal Government, yet the state government refused to support it. I have children and loved ones in Nigeria, too. No one is immune to kidnapping. My concern is not personal gain; I am driven by my love for the nation and my desire to see our people safe.”

In this video, Sunday Dare highlighted the Federal Government’s strong presence and commitment in Ogbomosho and Oyo State, outlining abandoned road projects that have been revived and are now progressing under the administration of PBAT.

This is what a broadcaster like Rufai Oseni should be doing. Instead, he chooses to amplify misinformation and narratives that undermine Nigeria. Thank you, Seun Okinbaloye, for standing with your country and staying focused on the facts. May Nigeria continue to triumph. #UniteAgainstTerror
According to the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communications, Sunday Dare, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is deeply troubled by the recent killings and abductions in Oyo State.
Dare stated that the Federal Government’s response was immediate and not slow, noting that security agencies were activated within hours of the incident. He added that ongoing rescue operations involve both kinetic and non kinetic measures, but certain decisions and troop movements cannot be disclosed publicly due to the sensitive nature of the operation.
He further assured that Nigerian security forces remain fully engaged and on top of the situation, with efforts continuing to secure the safe return of the abducted victims.
Nigeria has endured too much pain at the hands of terrorists, and as a people we cannot continue like this.
Terrorism has stolen lives, destroyed families, and shaken communities across our nation.
We cannot allow this evil to define who we are.
Again, I call on the federal government and the military hierarchy to get tougher on these bastard terrorists and continue to wipe them out!
I urge citizens and celebrities to stop sharing fake news and adding to our many problems.
Nigeria will defeat terrorism. We must be united, and stand with NIGERIA! #UnitedAgainstTerror
From time immemorial, vigilante groups have existed across Nigeria. Perhaps you should take some time to learn about their history before making such claims. There is absolutely no correlation between your argument and the assertion that those arrested were Fulani men. More importantly, you have provided no evidence to support your allegations. I hope that this screenshot you're relying on helps you well if this ever ends up in court.
Ignorance is not an excuse under the law.
For those who deliberately share fake, manipulated, or inflammatory content capable of causing public disorder or destabilising the polity, deleting a post and apologising after the fact may not be enough where the law has been breached. Know this.
Freedom of expression is not freedom to deceive, incite, or endanger society.
Before you share, verify. Then verify again.
Do not become an unwitting tool in the hands of merchants of falsehood, mischief, and chaos. Every click, repost, and forward carries responsibility.
Nigeria is bigger than the agendas of those who seek to divide, destabilise, or profit from confusion.
