Our member of the week, Kunle Olaleye LLM, BL, MCArB, has over 20 years illustrious career in Aviation where he garnered valuable professional experience in corporate & business aviation, cargo operations & logistics, relationship management, commercial negotiation, regulatory risk assessment, consulting and strategy.

He obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Lagos and also holds a Master of Laws degree from the same University (where he obtained distinctions in Energy Resources and Human Rights Laws). He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2007.

Kunle is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, International Bar Association, Chartered Institute of Commerce of Nigeria, Association of Professional Negotiators and Mediators, Business Recovery &Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria as well as member of the National Business Aviation Association of the United States of America. He is a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators.

Kunle is the Managing partner of Kunle Olaleye & Associates, a Lagos based law firm and is a Co-Founder of Aerofocus Limited, an aviation company headquartered in Lagos and also a Director of Stemres Learning Initiative (an NGO) sits on the board of Shine Microfinance Bank Limited, among others.

On becoming an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators in 2008, Kunle was privileged to Mediate in a dispute between a Multinational Company operating an airline and a Nigerian government Agency. Dispute was resolved to the satisfaction of both parties. A trained Negotiator and Mediator, Kunle acts for and on behalf of parties in disputes resolution and provides legal advisory and consulting services. He has the passion and conviction that personal and commercial disputes are better resolved through ADR mechanisms.

A passionate believer in the socio-political development and prosperity of Africa through deliberate collaborative efforts, he enjoys golf, football, tennis and international political discourse.
