Ream is running in consensus, justifying and finalizing alongside Zeam and Qlean 🤝 - three independent clients aggregating post-quantum signatures via leanVM on the same chain.

This milestone reflects months of collaborative work across the Ethereum ecosystem.

@nullity00 @ethereumfndn I am working on that too, currently Ream doesn't have enough funding for me to dedicate all of my time towards it, their is also a lot of uncertainty the funding could disappear in 3-4 months. So ideally I am working a more stable job alongside of it.

@hiha_shash @ethereumfndn I am not sure, Geth and Nimbus say they are still interested, but the @ethereumfndn cut funding to the project. So I am not sure what will happen now, I should be able to give a better answer in 1 to 2 weeks.

@OkohEbina @ethereumfndn We built the most performent implementation of the Portal Network Specification and we were about 2 weeks from getting HEAD header,bodies,receipts live. The infrastructure to get them on the network was done. Currently genesis to HEAD minus ~8192 is available

We have shipped serving genesis to HEAD minus ~8192 headers,bodies,receipts. All this data is fully verifiable for canonicalness https://t.co/a0ozs3dUuX and is live today https://t.co/NLpWzvenN1

The infrastructure for serving HEAD data was done, the specifications were done. We just had ~2 weeks left till we would have shipped HEAD History. We had the infrastructure for shipping state data with a delay of 8 blocks ready, I just had to finish implementing Pectra support to the EL we built. Portal was a R&D project.

@elyx0 @ethereumfndn The team I was on was on apparently was not aligned with Ethereum Foundation’s vision anymore. I wasn’t told much we got an email then 8 hours later got the boot. I was working on basically a decentralized geth archival node, so a real light client solution for the EL.
