A senior engineer created a fake junior dev to test hiring advice.
The profile had:
- good portfolio
- active GitHub
- senior-level projects
- even faked YOE
He ran the experiment in the Netherlands, a country known for its developer shortage.
Applied to 36 jobs and didn’t get a single interview.
The junior dev market is brutal.

She turned 19 in Poland and graduated with a 4.0 GPA from the University of Cuntenserven with a major in Motherology and ordered a gaguette at the bakery of hits during the Motherquake that measured 10.0 on the Cunter scale
Over the past year, Trisha has donated more than $50,000 to charities including Palestine Relief, Drag Defense Fund, Trevor Project, Trans Lifeline, and now Creators Against ICE. Donating to a cause should not be controversial, regardless of someone’s past. People are receiving the help they need and that should be the end of the conversation. You cannot rewrite history but you can strive to be better and she has shown that time and time again.

The thing I always admired about Itagaki - and what’s been lost in the West’s obsession with realism, was his love of the wild & outlandish. Those staircases in Dead or Alive 4 were peak “FUN VIDEOGAME MADNESS”
I still wish someone could explain this to me. Why is it that an account with 5~6k followers can get 10k likes on a post about my game - while when *I* post about it, I am lucky to get 300 likes? And I have 50k+ followers. Are all my followers dead?
This same thing happened during the entire time we were trying to drum up public support for "Alice: Asylum" - all that art, design, and other effort was essentially lost to the void.
Why it frustrates me: In terms of the sort of response a publisher would want to see as a measure of the IP's potential, there was practically nothing.
But to this day when a random X/Insta account posts up a video montage - it blows the doors off.
What gives?
PS: No shade toward those who pull these kind of numbers. More power to you. But I do wish some of that power could have been shown in response to the effort we made trying to get a 3rd game made 🤷
