ఈ రోజు 116 ఏళ్ల వృద్ధ భక్తురాలు శ్రీమతి నవనీతమ్మ గారికి, ఆమె కుటుంబ స���్యులతో కలిసి శ్రీవారి ప్రత్యేక విఐపీ బ్రేక్ దర్శనం విజయవంతంగా కల్పించాము.

అనంతరం రంగనాయకుల మండపంలో టీటీడీ ఈఓ శ్రీ ముద్దాడ రవిచంద్ర గారు వేదపండితులతో వేదాశీర్వచనం చేయించి, పట్టువస్త్రం కప్పి, తీర్థప్రసాదాలు అందజేశారు. నవనీతమ్మ గారికి నమస్కరించి ఆశీర్వాదం కూడా తీసుకున్నారు.

ఈ సందర్భంగా నవనీతమ్మ గారి మనవడు దిక్పతీ మాట్లాడుతూ, “మా అమ్మమ్మ కోరికను నెరవేర్చి, మా కుటుంబ సభ్యులందరికీ శ్రీవారి దర్శన భాగ్యం కల్పించిన టీటీడీకి, టీటీడీ చైర్మన్ గారికి హృదయపూర్వక ధన్యవాదాలు.” అని తెలిపారు.

తెలుగు సినిమాల్లో ఒకటి రెండు సన్నివేశాలు కాస్త భిన్నంగా తీసినా “మంచి సినిమా”, “డిఫరెంట్ సినిమా” అని అంటుంటాం. అలాంటిది టైటిల్ కార్డ్ నుంచి రోలింగ్ టైటిల్స్ వరకు ప్రతి అంశంలోనూ టాలీవుడ్‌కు పూర్తిగా కొత్త అనుభూతిని ఇచ్చే సినిమా తీయడం చాలా కష్టం. అలాంటి ప్రయత్నాలు అరుదు… విజయవంతం కావడం మరింత అరుదు.

స్లోనెస్ ఉంటేనే కొన్ని భావోద్వేగాలు ప్రేక్షకుడికి పూర్తిగా చేరతాయి. అటెన్షన్ స్పాన్ తగ్గిపోయి, ఎప్పుడూ హడావుడి మాత్రమే కోరుకునే మాస్ ప్రేక్షకుల అభిప్రాయాల‌ను కాసేపు పక్కన పెట్టి, నిజంగా ఒక మంచి సినిమా చూడాలనుకుంటే ఈ వీకెండ్ ‘రావు బహదూర్’ ను థియేటర్‌లో తప్పకుండా ఆస్వాదించండి.

It has soothing music, subtle comedy and social message.

అసలు ఒక తెలుగు సినిమా కథ ను ఇలా చెప్పొచ్చు, ఇలాంటి నేపధ్యాన్ని ఎన్నుకోవచ్చు అని అంత ధైర్యంగా తీసినందుకు ఎంకరేజ్ చేయొచ్చు

వెంకటేశ్ మహా & సత్యదేవ్ ఈ సినిమాకు బ్లడ్ పెట్టేశారు! ❤️🔥

నాకిష్టం అయింది మీకు ఇష్టం కాకపోవచ్చు, ఎవరి ఇష్టం వారిది.

కానీ మానసిక రుగ్మతని వాస్తవానికి ఇంత దగ్గరగా తెరపై చూపిన తెలుగు దర్శకులు ఇంకొకరు లేరు, దానికి సత్యదేవ్ నూటికి నూరుపాళ్లు న్యాయం చేశారు. మానసిక రుగ్మత వలన వ్యక్తి, అతని చుట్టూ ఉండ���వాళ్ళు ఏ విధమైన ఇబ్బందులు ఎదుర్కుంటారు అన్నది చక్కగా చూపారు. నా రోజువారీ ప్రాక్టీసులో ఎదుర్కునే సున్నిత అంశాలను చాలా చక్కగా తెరకెక్కించారు. ఎక్కడా అసభ్యత, అనవసర హింస లేకుండా అద్భుతమైన సాహిత్యం, సంభాషణలతో తెరకెక్కించారు. ధన్యవాదాలు.

Rajamouli ~ “I know what my strength is. My strength is telling the stories that I know best and presenting them honestly to the audience. That’s what has worked for me so far, and I’m sticking to the same approach with Varanasi. I’m not changing my storytelling style specifically for international audiences. I believe authenticity is what connects with people across the world.”

Visited the Lumière Museum and the screening room where Eega and RRR was screened to a full house in Lyon, France.

Thierry Frémaux, the director of the Institut Lumière and the Cannes Film Festival, was gracious enough to introduce me. Then he said he had planned a surprise and walked me through the very street where cinema was born. I was already emotional for everything that was happening around me.
And there is this wall full of plaques. Names of legends like Martin Scorsese, Clint Eastwood, Quentin Tarantino, Francis Ford Coppola… and then I noticed a plate covered with a red cloth. My mind went blank.
I don’t even know what to say for the honour of having my name permanently placed on the Mur des Cinéastes, along with the greats.

Only gratitude. Deeply, deeply humbled. 🙏

Thank you @InstitutLumiere for a memory I will carry for a lifetime.
