The 2004 Cardinals lineup was absurd.
Albert Pujols: 46 HR, 123 RBIs, 1.072 OPS
Scott Rolen: 34 HR, 124 RBIs, 1.007 OPS
Jim Edmonds: 42 HR, 111 RBIs, 1.061 OPS
The only team that could take them down was the 86 year curse breaking Red Sox.
You've got these 9 players ... what's the IDEAL lineup?
🔹 Shohei Ohtani
🔹 Miguel Cabrera
🔹 Yadier Molina
🔹 Jose Altuve
🔹 Jose Ramirez
🔹 Alex Rodriguez
🔹 Barry Bonds
🔹 Aaron Judge
🔹 Mike Trout

I asked my almost five year old who his favorite singer is.
He said “A dragon.”
I asked which dragon.
He said:
“Two tiny wings, eyes big and yellow
Horn of a steer, but a lovable fellow
From head to tail, he's royal purple pigment
And there, viola! You've got a… FIGMENT”
There is a case to be made that protecting charismatic megafauna does have a cascading effect where many other species benefit from their habitats being protected.
Pandas are known as charismatic megafauna. They’re fluffy and cute.
However, ecologically, they don’t provide much to the earth. Conservation dollars would be better spent on something that helps their ecosystem.
But no one wants to donate to some tiny frog or invertebrate.
