کردها یکی از سازمان‌یافته‌ترین و مؤثرترین نیروها در مبارزه با جمهوری اسلامی و تلاش برای استقرار نظامی دموکراتیک، متکثر و‌ سکولار هستند و همواره به‌گرمی از جنبش‌های اجتماعی و اعتراضی در سراسر ایران حمایت کرده‌اند…باوجود حملات سنگین‌و مداوم موشکی و پهپادی جمهوری اسلامی، ما کماکان در حالت دفاعی به‌سر می‌بریم، اما این‌وطن ماست و‌ سرانجام بایستی یک روز مردم کردستان شاهد در آغوش گرفتن پیشمرگ‌ها باشند.

I was interviewed by Euronews, where I argued that the Islamic regime should not be trusted. How can a government that has killed tens of thousands of its own citizens and is setting the entire region on fire be considered trustworthy? The regime has never honoured agreements with previous U.S. administrations.

I also emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran poses a serious threat to Europe too. I urged European governments to end their policy of appeasement and adopt a firmer, more decisive stance toward the regime in Tehran.

Yesterday, @PahlaviReza issued a statement once again labelling the Kurds as separatists, threatening to fight us with an army that doesn’t even exist. He has already described the suppression of the Kurds as a “national and patriotic duty”.

Let me be clear: the people of Kurdistan remain fully united in our struggle against the Islamic Republic and in pursuit of an Iran based on democracy, human rights, and political participation that guarantees the rights of all nationalities, including the Kurds. Whether or not we choose to participate in any opposition coalition does not diminish our view.

Mr Pahlavi’s remarks weaken the unity and solidarity of the Iranian people - which is our most powerful weapon against a treacherous enemy, the Islamic Republic. They weaken social cohesion by spreading hatred and sowing division among us. By echoing the regime’s false narratives against Kurds, they serve to legitimise past repression.

What the brutal regime could not accomplish in 47 years of killings and repression - breaking the Kurds and silencing our rightful voice - you will not be able to achieve either. Where fathers and grandfathers failed, despite all their executions, exiles, violence and schemes to strip the Kurdish people of our identity, sons will not accomplish either.

Thank you for covering Iran’s Kurds @EliLake. The regime’s nuclear program has been a curse to the people of Iran. It’s only brought war to us & has been a massive drain on state’s budget at our expense. The regime’s massacre of tens of thousands of its own people including Kurds over years of authoritarian rule is more reason for it to step aside for all of our sakes. It must go!

I welcome today’s @Europarl_EN resolution urging the @EUCouncil to fully designate the IRGC, including the Basij and Quds Force, a terrorist organization. The Council has clear legal basis to act, supported by a convergent evidentiary record, including European judicial findings and the grave escalation of violence in January 2026. Implementation is now essential: targeted listing measures, effective asset freezes, and disruption of enabling networks to deter further abuses and protect civilians.
