“A huge chasm has opened in transatlantic trust—one that is bad for Washington’s global power projection and for its image as a benign hegemon, and potentially catastrophic for transatlantic cohesion and the vitality of NATO.”

President Trump says he loves to make a “deals” and it seems his foreign policy is all about these deals. Just wondering if he knows about what kinds of the “deals” dictators like Putin prefers? Otherwise they won’t get along given the different nature of the “deals” for boths!
Trump wants to achieve peace, everybody does Zelenskyy and even Putin! The difference is on which conditions it has to be achieved. Free world much step in and the US as a flagship. Otherwise, dictatorships will prevail and then inevitable conflict VS the more powerful enemy!
And yes in my view Zelenskyy is wrong for not organizing the elections back in 2023-2024 when his ratings was at the peak while the Ukrainian army launched the counteroffensive. And now he has to make an excuses to Trump why he didn’t do that although he could and had to run!
What’s a nonsense to appease Russia when it’s army even not able to seize a small Ukrainian town of Pokrovsk or Andriivka which is in the eastern front. It’s not even close to what happened in February-March, 2022 when Ru army was miles away from Kyiv. Doesn’t make any sense!
Russia, China, Iran will always consider the US as a key threat to the autocratic regimes. regardless of the president they will be seeking for America”s elimination from the world”s stage only because its a flagship of freedom and democracy. This is also the US war for survival
The main problem of the VP Vance speech is that he thought to address the US audience not the EU, where understanding of liberalism/ conservatism are much different to what we observe in the US. It was too irrelevant & doesn’t resolve but rather aggravates transatlantic unity !
@LindseyGrahamSC promises pretty much the same what VP Harris did in the eve of the Russian full-scale invasion. As he suggested Ukraine may become a NATO member “if this happens again”. So another thousands of Ukrainian have to die before the US will make the decision?
The Democrats not Republicans threw Ukraine under the bus first in 1994 by disarming of the nuclear weapons under Clinton, then in 2014 by abandoning over Crimea and Donbas, and then in 2022 by allowing Putin”s full-scale invasion. All three cases under the Dem. Administration!

My complaints are definitely not against the chief-editor of @KyivPost@BohdanNahaylo, and not about his professional duties, as well as editorial team. However my legal request to defend my rights as a journalist according to all provisions of the Ukrainian Labor Law 1/1
to talk with former employees of @KyivPost and they repeat the same thing: a person is accepted for a probationary period, and then removed without providing any legal documents, in my case even after lawyers requests. @ruslankivan, is the "chief-editor" appointed by you 1/3
I received a letter in response to our legal request from Businessgroup LLC, which is the owner of @KyivPost Ukrainian media outlet, according to which they “never had and do not have” an employment relationship with me. HR department does confirm that in March, 2024, 1/1
