@Seckaice @SarsyJay Yes, that perception though warranted is an American experience. I've had to explain my experience in MS on numerous occasions when people find out I did my undergrad there.

@Seckaice @SarsyJay The state is almost 40% black, so it is not hard finding a black community for almost anything you are interested in. I do not share the same experience regarding racial prejudice in MS but that's an American experience and I have encountered in other states too.
