Ms. Wan and I first worked together on online collaborative classes in December 2020 and February 2021. I’m truly grateful for the chance to work together again🙏
Recalling what she’d been taught, she prepared each step carefully. She did a brilliant job, and it was absolutely delicious.
It’s lovely to see her putting what she’s learnt into practice at home.

My daughter’s culinary inquiry.
She made ‘zangi’ for us, a dish she’d learnt in Kushiro. ‘The shop manager said this!’ she muttered as she went along…lol
Um…Who is the shop manager?!
If I truly respect someone, I want to be able to understand them and converse with them in their own language. That feeling has grown even stronger within me.
Right then, back to it tomorrow.
Having received so much energy, it’s now my turn to pass it on to those around me.
Every day is about testing hypotheses.
I listen to others, think, try things out, and think some more.
Today, too, I continued to search for the essence of things.
There’s still so much we want to do.
There’s still so much we need to do.
I was in Australia until yesterday. It was freezing cold. But more than that, I’m grateful for the heartwarming experiences and encounters we had there.
And starting today, I’ll be studying in Tokyo for two days.

I was quite surprised to realize it has been quite a while since my last post.
Twins have left for their exchange program in Kushiro.
I’d like to express my heartfelt gratitude to both schools for providing them with this valuable experience, as well as to all the host families.
