The only thing still driving this War is ego. Iran hasn’t directed a missile to Israel or Gulf Countries except in retaliation for the aggression by US/Israel on its soil. The only reason the War is escalating and young men and women are being sent into dangerous terrain is because US/Israel are unable to come to terms that a Country exists that will not bow to them and there’s nothing they can actually do to them.
On this my 74th birthday, I celebrate the valiant men and women of our Armed Forces.
Today, I have directed the Accountant-General of the Federation to establish a special account for a fund dedicated to those who serve, those wounded in the line of duty, and the families of those who have paid the ultimate price.
As a personal commitment, all my salaries since assuming office will be paid into this account as seed funding, irrespective of existing insurance and welfare schemes for members of our armed forces. This fund will directly support those who have lost their limbs, and the widows, widowers, and children of those who laid down their lives in service to our dear country.
I call on our Governors, members of the National Assembly, the private sector, my friends and all well-wishers to support this initiative. Details of the account will be made available in due course.
We must never forget those who stand in harm’s way for our peace, nor the sacrifices borne by their families.
This is not charity. It is duty.
And we will fulfil it.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu
President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces
Federal Republic of Nigeria
Seun: Were you betrayed by Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the APC?
Bukola Saraki: I think that question is unfair on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Very unfair. President Tinubu, in the last administration, didn't have a say. He had no such influence in the last administration as being wrongly perceived. He knew nothing about my persecution.
During the 2023 election over 20,000 people unfollwed me bcs I supported Tinubu - I just dey laugh 😂😂😂
E get one aunty I liked on this street, she supported my book launch & bought hundreds of copies to share she DM'ed me and said
"I can't associate with you anymore bcs of your political choice"
I just laughed and said Okay.
Some people DM'ed and say I should stop supporting Tinubu bcs it's a bad social currency.
My stance has been only a coward who shut his mouth bcs of what strangers would say about your choice of election candidate.. Strangers that really do not matter!
It is my constitutional right! Right to choose & campaign for whomever I want. You campaign for yours. Ko gba - Ko dija!
You can only fear for what they'll say if your source of income is dependent on your Twitter followers or you're simply a coward whose livelihood depends on mobs fake love.
2027 is here!

PRESS RELEASE
TROOPS OF OPERATION HADIN KAI FOIL TERRORIST ASSAULT AT MALLAM FATORI, NEUTRALISE OVER 80 INSURGENTS INCLUDING HIGH-PROFILE COMMANDERS
Troops of the Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) in the early hours of Wednesday successfully repelled a coordinated and simultaneous five-pronged terrorist attack on own positions at Mallam Fatori in Sector 3. The terrorists, who advanced in large numbers on foot and deployed armed drones in a desperate bid to breach the defences of locations of troops, particularly along the frontage of Bravo Company from the Duguri general area, were met with overwhelming resistance.
Having maintained full situational awareness of the battlespace, troops had anticipated the attack and deliberately prepared an offensive-defensive battle designed to decisively defeat and annihilate the assault elements. Through disciplined fire control, coordinated manoeuvre and superior tactical execution, the attackers were engaged, disrupted and routed in disarray, with no fewer than 80 terrorists neutralised during the engagement.
Additionally, the firefight was further reinforced by precision of close air support from the Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI, complemented by rapid strike passes from allied Nigerien air assets, which compounded the pressure on the fleeing insurgents. Exploitation of the engagement area led to the recovery of a substantial cache of weapons, ammunition and combat enablers, including 52 AK-47 rifles, 8 PKT machine guns, 7 RPG tubes, 5 General Purpose Machine Guns (GPMGs), over 3,000 rounds of assorted 7.62mm ammunition, 21 RPG bombs, 9 locally fabricated IEDs, multiple magazines, communication radios and components of armed drones deployed by the terrorists.
Despite the scale and intensity of the assault, own troops recorded minimal casualties, with four soldiers wounded in action and promptly stabilised, while follow-on Battle Damage Assessment of air interdictions remains ongoing.
Significantly, the operation resulted in the neutralisation of three high-profile terrorist commanders, namely Mallam Abdulrahman Gobara, Mallam Ba Yuram and Abou Ayyuba, who were key figures in coordinating and leading the failed assault.
Furthermore, several other identified fighters were eliminated during the engagement, including Zarkawi, Ba Bunu, Rawa Fannami, Abowor Suwurti, Bulama Mil, Abu Aisha, Suleimana, Abu Rijal, Abu Ali, Abba Gana Kawiyya and Ahmodu Hirasama. The elimination of these commanders and fighters represents a severe disruption to the terrorist command structure and operational capability within the axis.
This decisive victory represents a major operational setback for the terrorist network and further underscores the growing combat effectiveness, resilience and tactical superiority of Operation HADIN KAI forces across the Theatre.
The failed attack clearly contradicts recent misleading propaganda and false narratives suggesting that troops are overwhelmed or experiencing setbacks. On the contrary, troops remain firmly in control of all locations, maintaining dominance through sustained offensive operations, effective joint force integration and high morale.
Operation HADIN KAI reassures the general public that the security situation in Mallam Fatori and its environs remains firmly under control, while urging citizens to remain vigilant and disregard unverified reports intended to undermine ongoing military operations. The Military High Command commended the troops for their gallantry and resilience, urging them to sustain the operational tempo.

This is the power of “US”. We started this campaign yesterday to let other Yoruba people know that Yoruba already has words for pufferfish. Now, if anybody searches on Google for the Yoruba words for pufferfish, this is what they will see. It is all because we all did our part. Keep writing! Keep pushing our language! Thanks for helping this research.

Do you really know headless or foolish you have to be to think or believe that it was possible for Donald Trump to just carry his military "guns-a-blazing" and start firing missiles into anywhere in Nigerian soil unprovoked and without any form of collaboration or partnership with the Nigerian government?
Once again, there's a reason other Africans don't respect us on the internet, these past few weeks exposed a lot.
