You don’t have to wait for a new day to have a new start with the Almighty. Any time you need a new beginning, simply call on Him, honestly and sincerely. His door is always open. His Mercy is endless.
Be grateful not just occasionally but daily. Don’t take anything for granted because as much as He gives, He can also take away. Thank Him for all that you have. Don’t compare your life to others. They may look ‘“perfect” on social media but they all have problems in real life.
Raise the bar of your worship in these last ten days. The most blessed night of all nights is tucked away in there. No one is promised the next Ramadan. So give this your all & be consistent during this period. This beats picking a few nights of the ten & risk losing it.
If there are people in your life who treat you poorly and make you feel like you are less than enough, or that you need to prove your worth in some way, keep your distance from them. Spend time instead with those who lift you up. Keep your heart attached to your Maker.
We all struggle. Some of us more than others. There’s nothing wrong in admitting that we do. It makes us human. Life is not a walk in the park. Life is hard. It's also beautiful. You’ll feel happy & sad. Hurt & joy. Whatever you do, be real and keep friends who are real too.
If you find yourself and your conversation focusing on people; what’s going on in their lives, their relationships, their social status etc, then you have a serious problem. You need to get out of that mould; focus on yourself rather than being concerned with others.
Your faith will be tested again and again. It’s easy to believe when things are going your way, when the path is rosy. But the true test comes when the Almighy puts obstacles in your way. Do you become disobedient & defiant or do you submit to Him, be patient and ride it out?
It’s only human to feel frustrated and dejected when things aren’t going our way. We feel like we’re carrying the weight of the world on our backs. We may think the Almighty is not answering our prayers, but He is answering them; just not the way we want.
