It´s only Homo sapiens that has and uses the cognitive abilities to destroy, hurt, damage, contaminate our planet. No animal shows such emotional distortion, wide-spread ignorance, and utter violenc has humans do.

now we publish ca. 30 specimens from 16 locations, including much lower areas <600 m. We included some data and suggestions, why these vipers occur also in areas much lower than the previously known lower limit of ca. 1300 m asl.

just published:

with a simple and effective article, we increased the range of Montivipera sp. (bulgardaghica) in Syria 10x (1000%). This viper was formerly known by 6 specimens from one location (one publication and 2 posts on social media).
