Preach, brother. I agree with you 100%.I also hate that these stock bros don’t understand that the real head shop owners had their culture stolen — by H-1B visa holders and gas stations. Since when did anyone think a gas station was a smoke shop?I risked my freedom just selling a water pipe. Head shops pushed the movement. Now that their stocks keep getting diluted, they’ve turned on the culture that was at the center of it in every town.There used to be that one hippie who owned the local head shop. These dudes don’t even understand why they’re called head shops. LOL.

More regulation is always the answer. LOL Fine — then shut down foreign-owned shops and pull hemp, vapes, and kratom out of gas stations too. Smoke shops and vape shops used to be owned by Americans. Thanks to the visa program, you’re lucky to find one owned by a White or Black guy anymore. @TheDankInformer treats more regulation as the default solution.

Let’s be real: this is an immigration-and-ownership problem, not just a market-shift story. Gas stations and foreign-owned vape shops took over what used to be head-shop culture. The people who built that space—the independent operators who were there before medical cannabis—got pushed out by convenience-store operators who treat pipes, carts, and hemp products like lottery tickets and energy drinks.

Not every smoke shop owner is selling cheap China hemp — that’s what @thedankinformer seems to assume. There are plenty of legitimate farms putting out high-quality product. He’s clearly frustrated that his stock plays haven’t worked out. Going after hemp isn’t going to help the industry. I have to wonder if he’s ever actually been in this space outside of trading stocks. His comments make him sound like a rookie, not a real advocate.
