Taylor Allison Retracts Public Accusations Against Mlindo The Vocalist
Singer Mlindo The Vocalist’s girlfriend and baby mama, Taylor-Jo Allison, has issued a public statement retracting the explosive allegations she made against him on Instagram on 7 May.
In a series of now-deleted Stories, Allison had accused the "AmaBlesser" hitmaker of physical abuse, infidelity, and harming their one-year-old daughter Nkanyezi.
Just a day later, she has posted a formal Public Statement acknowledging she spoke "from a place of deep hurt, frustration, and emotional exhaustion."
"I acknowledge that bringing such private matters onto a public platform was not the best way to handle things," she wrote. Allison admitted some details "do not reflect the full reality of the situation" and were said in the heat of the moment, not to humiliate him.
She added: "Regardless of our personal challenges, Lindo remains a loving father and someone I once cared for deeply." Allison emphasised she does not want the situation to lead to mockery, bullying, or damage to anyone's dignity or career, and called for private healing and peaceful co-parenting.
The couple, who share daughter Nkanyezi, have had an on-and-off relationship marked by previous public tensions. Mlindo has denied the allegations.
As of now, both sides are urging privacy.
