firstly, we would like to extend our gratitude to @JoyOfJazz , @StandardBankArt and @TladiMusicman for gracefully granting us the space for us to be in a growing communion with abahlali locally and internationally. we have been recieving nothing but beautiful reviews since getting off the Joy of Jazz stage and it wouldn't have come to fruition without the hands on support of ausi Mantwa and the rest of the team.
thank you to abahlali, you showed up and showed off. we were not expecting a 'full to the brim' house. it was such a pleasant surprise that many of you came to recieve an offering we have been in meditation about for weeks.
@theforgejhb @yvonnebusisiwephyllis thank you for the support in our journey of Amanzi Sessions, and @smegza_bass for holding it down on sound. thank you to @dindie_ , @darkdindie_styliying_concepts @euphoria_blaq for styling and dressing the band.
last but never least, to the band that has been so dedicated through evenings of rehearsals. you never fail to bare your souls onto that stage with every offering we render. thank you for remaining in love with the collective and with each other as individuals. shoutout to @nhlanhla_iphupho for founding and realising this dream 9 years ago, even in the midst of doubts and challenges you kept persisting and enduring. may your vision of seeing this movement grow to greater heights and touch many lives manifest globally.
