@ozenua_john Well one thing I have learnt recently is to steal colour schemes from outstanding projects in dribble and Behance, especially when you are not following the visual identity style guide or brand identity colour.

Instead of full black (#000) why not try #121212 or #212121
this soothes the eye in a way than the ideal black. The same goes for other high contrast colors. This makes your design look light and soft.

It's just the psychology of colors...
