If anyone was doubting #abiyahmed's admin prerogative, he explained it in his visit to #Wollega.. During his presentation, he said that #oromos have been oppressed by #Amhara for centuries & that they must come together to create a change to #oromo superiority in #Ethiopia.

Ethiopia must find lasting peace. It must do so for the sake of its own people who've suffered for too long, & for the sake of the people of the Horn of Africa at large who've been held hostage by successive regimes in Addis Ababa who've cared more about obeying orders coming from imperialists & their own short-term interests.

Ethiopia must be led by a progressive & farsighted leader who is genuinely & unreservedly committed to peace in the Horn of Africa; a leader whose words & actions aren't mismatched; a leader who works to change the reputation of the country from famine-striken, debt-ridden, war-waging pariah to the home fitting of the African Union it currently houses which can enjoy peace & tranquility with neighbouring countries.

*That's exactly the Ethiopia I want to see in my lifetime.
