ㅇ 정부기관 대표번호를 사용하고 있어도 발신 번호가 조작되었을 가능성이 있습니다. 아래와 같이 요구를 하는 경우 즉시 전화를 끊고 다른 전화기를 사용하여 해당 기관 대표번호에 연락하여 진위 여부를 확인하시기 바랍니다.

- 텔레그램 등 모바일 메신저나 특정 어플리케이션 설치 요구

- 문자 또는 이메일로 특정 링크를 보내고 접속 유도

- 금전 송금 요구
​
- 이름, 주민번호, 특정 웹사이트 아이디, 계좌 정보, 계좌 비밀번호 등 개인정보를 요구하거나 직접 입력하도록 유도

- 범죄 연루, 세금 미납 등을 사유로 즉시 대응해야하는 것처럼 불안감 유발

ㅇ 피해가 의심되는 경우 거주지역 관할 경찰서에 신속히 신고 바라며, 추가 범죄 피해 예방을 위해 재외공관 및 주변 지인에게 적극 알려주시기 바랍니다.

도봉개 주예멘대사는 6.8(월) 리야드에서 Elkhdir Daloum 세계식량계획(WFP) 예멘 대표를 접견하여, WFP를 통한 한국 정부의 대예멘 식량 지원 현황을 점검하고, 대사관과 WFP 예멘사무소 간의 협력방안에 대해 의견을 교환하였습니다. 

On 8 June in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Ambassador DO Bong-kae received Mr. Elkhdir DALOUM, Representative and country director of UN World Food Programme (WFP) in Yemen, to review the current status of Korean government's food contributions to the Yemeni people through WFP and discussed the way enhance the cooperation between the Embassy and the WFP Yemen Office.

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Yemen welcomes the prisoner exchange agreement concluded today, Thursday, 14 May, 2026, in Amman, between the legitimate Government of Yemen and the Houthi group. On this occasion, the embassy would like to extend sincere congratulations to all Yemenis, government and people. Indeed, this positive step reflects a constructive humanitarian spirit and represents an encouraging development toward building confidence and alleviating human suffering. The embassy also recognizes the contrastive mediating role by UN Especial Envoy.

The embassy hopes that this achievement will contribute to further dialogue, foster mutual understanding, and support ongoing efforts aimed at achieving peace, stability, and reconciliation in Yemen.

ترحب سفارة جمهورية كوريا لدى الجمهورية اليمنية باتفاقية تبادل الأسرى التي تمت اليوم، الخميس 14 مايو 2026، في العاصمة الأردنية عمان، بين الحكومة اليمنية الشرعية وجماعة الحوثي. وبهذه المناسبة، تود السفارة أن تتقدم بخالص التهاني إلى جميع اليمنيين، حكومةً وشعباً.
إن هذه الخطوة الإيجابية تعكس روحاً إنسانية بناءة، وتمثل تطوراً مشجعاً نحو بناء الثقة والتخفيف من المعاناة الإنسانية. كما تُعرب السفارة عن تقديرها للدور الوسيط والبنّاء الذي اضطلع به المبعوث الخاص للأمم المتحدة.

도봉개 주예멘대사는 9.17(수) 리야드에서 Shaya Mohsin Zindani 예멘 외교동포부 장관을 예방하여, 올해 한-예멘 수교 40주년을 축하하는 조현 외교장관 명의의 Zindani 장관 앞 서한 원본을 직접 전달하였습니다. 조현 장관은 축하 서한에서 양국이 유엔 안전보장이사회를 비롯한 국제 무대에서 우호협력 관계를 발전시켜 오는 등, 1985년 수교 이래 상호 지지를 통해 신뢰를 구축해 온 것을 평가하였습니다.
아울러 우리 정부가 예멘의 평화와 안정을 위한 국제사회의 노력에 적극 동참하고 있음을 언급하고, 올해 수교 40주년을 맞아 앞으로 양국 간 교류가 더욱 증진되기를 희망한다고 하였습니다.

On 17 September in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Ambassador Do Bong-kae met with H.E. Dr. Shaya Mohsin Zindani and delivered the original letter of congratulations by H.E. Cho Hyun, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
In the letter, Minister Cho praised the friendly and cooperative relationship that has developed since 1985, noting the mutual support between the two countries in international forums, including within the UN Security Council. He also mentioned that the Korean government has actively participated in international efforts for peace and stability in Yemen and expressed hope for further exchanges between the two countries on the occasion of the 40th anniversary this year.

2025년 한-예멘 수교 40주년을 기념하여 주예멘 대한민국 대사관과 예멘 외교동포부는 2025.8.21.(목) 사우디 리야드에서 “한국과 예멘 : 40년의 우정을 넘어”라는 슬로건 아래 공동 세미나를 개최하였습니다. 세미나에는 Yahya Al-Shaibi 예멘 대통령실 비서실장과 도봉개 주예멘대사, Muammar Al-Eryani 예멘 공보문화관광부 장관, Awsan Al-Awd 예멘 외교동포부 재무행정 담당 차관 등 50여 명이 참석하였습니다.

On 21 August in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Yemen and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Republic of Yemen jointly hosted a seminar under the slogan “Korea and Yemen: Friendship beyond 40 Years” to celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Yemen. The two countries established diplomatic relations on 22 August 1985.

예멘 인도주의 기금(Yemen Humanitarian Fund, YHF)은 2024년 한 해 동안 예멘 내 인도주의 위기에 대응하기 위해 총 4,790만 달러의 기금을 확보하였으며, 이를 통해 51개 인도주의 프로젝트를 지원하고, 예멘 전역 9개 주에서 103만 명 이상의 주민들에게 긴급 구호 서비스를 제공하였습니다.

대한민국 정부는 2023년 200만 달러에 이어, 2024년에는 이를 상회하는 320만 달러를 기여하며 YHF의 주요 기여국 중 하나로 자리매김하였습니다. 대한민국의 지속적이고 증가된 지원은 예멘 내 취약계층을 위한 긴급 구호 활동에 크게 기여하고 있습니다.

In 2024, the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF) mobilized a total of USD 47.9 million from contributing Member States and organizations to respond to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Yemen. These funds enabled the implementation of 51 humanitarian projects, delivering life-saving assistance to over 1.03 million people across nine governorates in the country.

Building on its 2023 contribution of USD 2 million, the Republic of Korea increased its support to USD 3.2 million in 2024, solidifying its position as one of YHF’s major donors. Republic of Korea’s sustained and growing commitment has played a vital role in strengthening emergency relief efforts for vulnerable populations throughout Yemen.

도봉개 주예멘대사는 6.29(일) 리야드에서 Aidaros Al-Zubaidi 예멘 대통령위원회(PLC) 부의장 겸 남부과도위원회(STC) 의장을 예방하고, 올해 한-예멘 양국 수교 40주년을 맞이하여 양국 간 정치적, 경제적 협력과 인도적 지원 방안에 대해 의견을 교환하였습니다.
Al-Zubaidi 부의장은 한국 정부가 2023-26년 간 지원하는 UNDP의 ‘포괄적 젠더 정의(Gender Justice) 제고’ 사업을 포함한 한국의 인도적 지원에 대해 높이 평가하였습니다. 부의장은 예멘이 겪고 있는 인도적 어려움 속에서 여성의 권익 신장과 주민들의 생활환경 개선은 매우 중요하며, 이 사업이 그러한 목적에 기여하고 있다고 언급하였습니다.
UNDP는 현재 아덴과 무칼라에서 법치 분야의 여성 지도자 훈련 사업을 실시하고 있습니다.

On 29 June in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Ambassador DO Bong-kae met with H.E. Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, Vice President of the Presidential Leadership Council and President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Yemen. They discussed the political and economic cooperation as well as humanitarian issues between the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Yemen, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries this year.
H.E. Al-Zubaidi expressed deep appreciation for Korea’s humanitarian assistance to Yemen, including the Korean government funded UNDP program of ‘Inclusive Gender Justice through Women’s Empowerment and Protection’ during 2023-26. He noted the importance of the development cooperation between the two countries amidst the severe economic conditions in Yemen.
The UNDP has been implementing the training program for women leaders in the field of rule of law in Aden and Mukalla.

대한민국 정부는 2025년부터 2027년까지 KOICA의 분쟁취약국 사업의 일환으로, IFRC(적신월사)와 함께 예멘 내 수자원 갈등 해소와 지역사회 회복력 강화를 위한 물관리 프로그램을 추진하고 있습니다.

본 사업은 아브얀, 하드라마우트, 타이즈, 사나, 다마르, 알자우프, 암란 등 예멘 내 7개 지역을 대상으로 하며, 약 400만 달러 규모의 지원을 통해 안정적인 물 공급과 지속가능한 수자원 활용 기반을 마련하고자 합니다.

The Government of the Republic of Korea, as part of KOICA’s program for fragile and conflict-affected countries from 2025 to 2027, is implementing a water management program in Yemen together with the IFRC (Red Crescent) to resolve water-related conflicts and strengthen community resilience.

The project focuses on seven regions in Yemen — Abyan, Hadhramaut, Taiz, Sana’a, Dhamar, Al Jawf, and Amran — providing approximately 4 million US dollars in funding to help establish stable water supplies and promote sustainable management of water resources.

🚨홍해-아덴만 인근 해역 통항안전 공지🚨

연합해양정보센터(JMIC)의 정보에 따르면, 예멘 후티 반군은 5월 20일부터 홍해 및 아덴만 일대에서 이스라엘 Haifa 항 기항 선박 또는 이스라엘 기업과 협력한 것으로 추정되는 선박을 대상으로 공격이 이루어질 수 있음을 경고하였습니다.

특히, 이번 발표를 통해 '자매 선박(Sister Ships)' 개념을 공격 대상에 포함시켜 이스라엘 항구에 기항하지 않았더라도 같은 선주사나 운항사 또는 관리 회사 소속의 다른 선박이 이스라엘 항구를 이용한 이력이 있을 경우에도 선박 공격 대상으로 간주될 수 있음을 경고하였습니다.

관련하여 홍해 인근 해역에서 운항하는 선박들은 각별한 주의를 당부드립니다.

항해 중 특이사항 발생 시 ▲︎VHF 채널 16번을 통한 연합해군 호출, ▲︎해양수산부 종합상황실(044-200-5895~6, 긴급한 경우 선박보안경보장치 작동), ▲︎청해부대(070-7998-8402, 8625)에 즉시 알려주시기 바랍니다.

On 20 May in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Ambassador Do Bong-kae met with H.E. Ahmed bin Dagher, Speaker of the Shura Council and Chairman of the Supreme Council of the National Bloc of Political Parties of Yemen, to review bilateral relations and discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Yemen. Members of the Shura Councilm Hon. Pasha Hazam Attia and Hon. Abdullah Saleh Al-Salami attended the meeting.
