In occupied Oleshky, around 2,000 people remain. Among them 35 children. 💔

Russians have deliberately created a situation of hunger in the city. There is no medicine, no safe drinking water, and barely any food. At the same time, the occupiers are using civilians as human shields and taking over their homes.

The only way out of the occupation is to walk dozens of kilometres through a mined field. People are taking this risk because they have no other choice.

Ukraine has raised the issue of Oleshky at the international level. Lists of children and seriously wounded people have been prepared for evacuation through the UN and the Red Cross. But the russian side is simply ignoring the requests.

Russia is counting on the world getting tired and eventually forgetting about Oleshky, just as it happened with Bucha and Mariupol. But we cannot stay silent.
