What @Takahiro_Omori did on Day 3 of @kubota_usa Heavy Hitters Presented by @BassProShops can only be described as “incredible.” In Period 2, Omori tried to find some unfished backwaters he thought could only be accessed via extremely shallow Orange Lake waters – waters that proved to be impassable as he got stuck on dry land.
After attempting to get unstuck conventionally and with the help of an airboat, he got a ride back to the ramp and the airboat went back to get his boat out. Fast-forward to about 30 minutes left in the final frame and Omori had just served his 15-minute penalty for needing his boat to be rescued.
He headed back out on Orange Lake in search of one bass to get him back above the @Lucas_Oil Cut Line. The rest, as they say, is history. And straight-up magic.
