If you played baseball in HS & College you would realize this happens all game. Just bc a hitter knows a fastball is coming doesnt mean he is good at handling high FBs. It could lead to him taking a pitch or too eager to swing and misses a the exact pitch he knew was coming. Not all results of knowing the pitch is a GOOD outcome.

@MicrophoneMilo 2B was NOT the problem. It was A problem but this team needs upgrades everywhere. Should be rebuilding not retooling last couple of years. Or at least adopting Ray's and Brewers strategies to trade 1 MLB talent near free agency for 2-3 near ready MILBers

@meshootphoto @AstrosJosh The entire cheating scandal shows how bad Americans are at problem solving. They see macro "Astros win WS" but micro no one tracks the end result of each at bat "Hit, Strike, ball, HR, etc" to see if it was a positive or negative outcome.

Knowing the pitch is a tiny advantage.

@realDonaldTrump I will admit Trump was an eye opening moment for me in American politics. I use to be naive and think we could change America for the better. The growth in Liberalism, lack of Belief in Higher Power and Social Media has absolutely regressed our Country over the past 20 years.

🙏Lord, make me quicker to wash feet than point fingers.
Help me speak truth without pride, serve without needing credit, and love people without trying to control them.
Teach me to trust You with the outcome. Start with my heart.

You water it.

Too many people want purpose without practice.
Gift without grind.
Calling without discipline.

Trust God enough to work on what He gave you.

🙏Lord, thank You for the gifts You’ve given me.

Help me trust Your direction and do the work to develop them. Keep me disciplined in practice and humble enough to keep learning.

Let me use what You’ve given me to serve others, not just prove myself.

@JoeRoganRecaps Why does it feel like he is being deceptive? I dont know why but his body language feels very off and he tends to let Joe talk and then agrees with him when Joe's imagination runs a little wild.

Guide my work. Correct my direction. Close what needs closing and strengthen what is worth building.

Give me the discipline to work hard, the humility to listen, and the wisdom to know when Your plan is better than mine.

Thank you for sharing. Im in year 1 of purchasing a Commercial General Contracting business myself. Owned a life safety contracting business for 12 years prior to this one. So far it has been way less stressful but still getting settled in. Hope you keep grinding and come up on top. Definitely heading right direction

Skill problem → teach.
Emotional problem → steady.
Effort problem → challenge.
Discouraged person → encourage.

Don’t spend all your influence at once.

Just because you see 5 things that could improve, doesn’t mean you should address all 5.

Sometimes the wisest move is to pick the 1 thing that matters most and leave the rest alone.

Coaching 6��8 year baseball has exposed a weakness in me:

I know how to motivate adults.
Kids are different.
They don’t need more explanation.
They need memorable patterns.
Hustle = Spark Plug
Hold = Stay. Stay. Stay.
Counting runs = One run for me.
Adults can analyze.
Kids recognize patterns.

Better teaching is often lowering the complexity without lowering the standard.

@DanCevette We pray for strength, then wonder why God gives us something heavy to carry.
We pray for wisdom, then get frustrated when He gives us problems to solve.
Sometimes the hardship IS the answered prayer.

Don’t "Steal the Struggle" just because you can see the solution before they can.

Your wisdom doesn’t always need to become their instruction.

“Lord, give me wisdom to speak when needed, patience to be quiet when I’m not, and humility to let You teach what I cannot. Amen.”
