Happy to share recent publication "The (Geo)Politics of Democracy in Kosovo: The Transatlantic Link" with the @EUI_EU. This report explores how changes in transatlantic relations between the US and the EU affected Kosovo. 👉https://t.co/LxEOcZRHRw
We had an important conversation last week in Durres with colleagues from Kosovo and Serbia on how we can energise peacebuilding efforts and support the dialogue to normalise relations between the two countries. @KCSSQKSS Read more 👉 https://t.co/tPEpqW7XVN
Latest Dinner Talks: our platform for CS–political party dialogue, held @KPDSummit. Civil society can do more, incl. on political cohesion on key #Kosovo issues. Grateful to party reps for openness, and to dipl. corps for strong input. Political maturity in 2026 will be crucial!
We warmly welcome the CEC decision to accredit Serbian-language and other media outlets for coverage of 12 Oct. local elections. This inclusive step reinforces the principles of transparency, equality, and media freedom essential for free & fair elections.

Met Miodrag Milicevic to discuss media coverage on @NGO_Aktiv. Civil society is vital for democratic oversight and deserves fair debate instead of sensationalism or unverified claims. @OSCEKosovo continues to support civil society + responsible journalism. https://t.co/t61VHIFIzD
🇪🇺 EU in Kosovo is concerned over recent media reports attempting to intimidate & criminalise the work of NGOs in #Kosovo.
NGOs, like media, are vital for democracy - holding authorities accountable.
Silencing them undermines trust &citizen participation▶️https://t.co/5yrWhOogBU
We are shocked and outraged by the @klankosova_tv report on @NGOAktiv. Based on false narratives, it construes dangerous allegations, dishonoring journalistic ethos. It puts Aktiv at risk and undermines constitutional liberties. Media watchdogs must react to defend democracy!
Many thanks to the high-ranking politicians from VV, PDK, LDK, and AAK, for an active discussion and a spirit of constructiveness expressed, as well as to the senior European diplomats who shared their views on this crucial issue.
KCA is civil society in action. Last night we held a special edition of our “Dinner Talks” series where we discussed #Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic future with senior political party representatives and diplomats.
Critical aspects of this path – such as the Normalization Dialogue with Serbia – require tough decisions. All this works best in a political culture of compromise, open dialogue, and unity of purpose.
Great pleasure and privilege for the #Kosovo Civic Alternative to meet HRVP @kajakallas last week in Prishtina and share our views on Kosovo's EU path, constitutional multi-ethnicity and the normalization dialogue.
