Today, FMG interns met IAS officer Gyatri Rathore regarding the pending stipend issue. After waiting for nearly 3 hours, we were allegedly told that “FMGs can never be at par with IMGs” and that we would “never get a stipend.”

We have spent years studying medicine, cleared FMGE and are performing our internship duties with the same responsibilities. We deserve answers based on rules—not dismissive statements or humiliation.

एक साल की internship, रोज़ लगभग 6 घंटे OPD duty और night duty में करीब 12 घंटे तक मरीजों की सेवा—FMG interns अस्पताल की नियमित व्यवस्था का हिस्सा बनकर अपनी जिम्मेदारियाँ निभा रहे हैं। इसके बावजूद stipend ₹0। वहीं समान duties करने वाले Indian interns को ₹21,700/month मिल रहा है।

जब duty, responsibility और सेवा समान है, तो stipend में यह भेदभाव क्यों? NMC के स्पष्ट निर्देशों के बावजूद FMGs को उनके अधिकार से वंचित रखना अत्यंत निराशाजनक है। अब राजस्थान सरकार को इस गंभीर विषय का संज्ञान लेकर न्यायसंगत निर्णय लेना चाहिए।

Maybe now people will understand that FMGEs weren’t “making excuses” when they spoke about centre-related issues. The same problems are now being faced in NEET-PG. The issue was real then, and it’s real now. Doctors deserve better. #FMGE #NEETPG #NEETPG2026

ACP Lalit Sharma says, "We received information that the server was not working properly, due to which the exam could not continue normally. Some candidates' computers opened while others did not, causing disruption to the examination. The students are angry about the exam and the process. We are discussing the matter with them and trying to counsel them. Talks are also being held at a higher level with the organising agency to find a logical and meaningful solution."

जब जिम्मेदारियाँ समान हैं, तो अधिकारों में भेदभाव क्यों? FMG interns से पूरी निष्ठा के साथ clinical services ली जा रही हैं, लेकिन stipend के नाम पर ₹0 यह अंतर अब समाप्त होना चाहिए। उम्मीद है राजस्थान सरकार इस आवाज़ को सुनेगी और उचित निर्णय लेगी।

माननीय मुख्यमंत्री जी, राजस्थान के FMG interns लंबे समय से stipend के लिए न्याय की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं। NMC के स्पष्ट निर्देशों के अनुसार FMGs को Indian Medical Graduates के समान stipend एवं सुविधाएँ प्रदान की जानी चाहिए, फिर भी राजस्थान में यह विषय अब तक लंबित है।

एक ओर अन्य राज्य interns के stipend में वृद्धि कर रहे हैं—उत्तर प्रदेश ने हाल ही में इसे ₹25,000 प्रति माह किया है—वहीं राजस्थान में FMG interns अपने उचित stipend की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं। यह किसी विशेष सुविधा की मांग नहीं, बल्कि समान कार्य के लिए समान सम्मान और न्याय का….

राजस्थान में FMG interns भी अस्पतालों में पूरी निष्ठा और जिम्मेदारी के साथ अपनी clinical duties निभा रहे हैं। हम भी चिकित्सा व्यवस्था का हिस्सा हैं और internship के दौरान निरंतर अपनी सेवाएँ दे रहे हैं, फिर भी stipend के मामले में हमें समानता का अधिकार नहीं मिल पा रहा है।

यह केवल आर्थिक सहायता का विषय नहीं, बल्कि समान कार्य के लिए समान सम्मान और न्याय का प्रश्न है। माननीय मुख्यमंत्री जी एवं स्वास्थ्य विभाग से विनम्र आग्रह है कि इस विषय का संज्ञान लेकर FMG interns के हित में न्यायसंगत निर्णय लिया जाए।
