@Reds03 @ClayHorshimer13 @SamHuseby @WriterJesse No intent to run the bases *usually* refers to when a runner gives themselves up. You can see this on Ref Sox/Royals June 30 2021, when rather than running to second to get tagged out, he skips the bag and gives himself up. Avoiding a tag is not.

@FattestStrat @fang25875 @octoberstanton He’s no Tim Locastro. Locastro’s OBP was from his stance being close to the plate- he walked a lot and got HPB at a crazy rate. You are more apt in saying Arraez with wheels- bat on ball, not great contact and run.

Dude sat down next to me and when the Tigers brought in their closer, the commentator mentioned Todd Jones. I snorted.

I told him how much contact relievers give me heart issues and that I never trusted dudes who loaded the bases to force double plays.

I had literally just left the game and was walking back to my car when a fire truck and an ambulance whizzed past me over on Ewing/Jefferson. Glad to hear that Pena is doing okay and is in stable condition, let's hope it was just dehydration.
