This is a poster from Kashmir of the year 1990 on the letter head of one of the Pakistan backed terrorist organizations operating in Kashmir Valley in the year 1990.

This is what is written in the poster 👇

"Asi gachchi Pakistan, Batao roas te Batanev saan"

Rough Translation:

"We (Kashmiri Muslims) want Pakistan along with Kashmiri Hindu Pandit women.

And as for Kashmiri Hindu Pandit men, they can leave Kashmir or die".

This was a hugely popular "Azadi" slogan in 1989 & 1990 that used to be chanted by Kashmiri men from Kashmir's majority community from my father’s generation. These are Kashmiri Muslim men, who are currently in their 50s and above. They would often chant this in front of terrified Kashmiri Hindu Pandit women to intimidate them and scare them to leave Kashmir Valley.

Younger generation of Kashmiri Muslim have unfortunately been fed lies by my father’s generation of Kashmiris from Kashmir's majority community that Kashmiri Hindu Pandits left Kashmir Valley willingly on their own accord as "MIGRANTS" facilitated by then J&K Governor - Jagmohan Malhotra.

That is a shameless lie told by my father’s generation of Kashmiris from Kashmir's majority community.

There was NO MIGRATION but a FORCED EXODUS and the poster is one of the examples of how the helpless Kashmiri Hindu Pandit minority was intimidated.

The Biggest Lie Told About Kashmir

Calling the ethnic cleansing of Kashmiri Pandits an “exodus” wasn’t a mistake.. it was propaganda. Words were carefully chosen to erase violence and blur guilt. People don’t abandon homes, temples, jobs, and centuries of memory overnight unless terror makes staying impossible.

What happened was systematic. First, prominent Pandits were killed in public to send a message. Then came threats over loudspeakers, notices in newspapers, homes burned, women terrorised, fear normalised. The goal wasn’t chaos. The goal was absence. And it worked over 99% fled to survive.

After the guns fell silent, a second operation began ‘narrative laundering.’Blame the administration. Blame circumstance. Blame Jagmohan. Blame anyone except the terrorists, their sponsors, and the ecosystem that enabled them.

This is how propaganda succeeds. Not by denying facts, but by redirecting attention. By turning perpetrators into nameless abstractions and victims into a debate.

The Kalpa Vigraha is a small black stone idol of Lord Shiva, about 5–6 cm tall, depicting Shiva in meditation with serpent and trident motifs. The wooden box, however, was reportedly carbon dated and found to be about 28,000 years old, which is far older than any known Hindu artifact or temple.
