Along with many of my #weather and #climate colleagues, I'll be participating in the Weather & Climate Livestream ("100 Hours To Save America's Forecasts"). I'll be hosting an "Ask Me Anything" (AMA)-style session 9-10am PT on Sat. May 31st. See you then! https://t.co/Ji1gi4MDST
Our regenerative almond ET paper is finally published! Congrats Margot and thanks for the co-authors’ contributions and sponsor for their funding support! It really takes 3 years from the first day of measurements until the paper is out! https://t.co/altuw0o0Q0
Just because the Philips snow survey is over, doesn’t mean we are done gathering data. We are happy to report an update to our data showing California’s Statewide snowpack at 100% as of today! Check out CDEC for more: https://t.co/Y2PD5salX7
We used laser beams to count insects. Cool huh? Insects are so numerous that sometimes they are hard to count. New technology might help us do this easier. Check out this paper by our team (Yes we identified 30,000 insects by hand...)
