Day 3 🎬 Just wrapped a full shooting day using the new pipeline and the director said out loud,
“This is the future.” One sequence that would have taken two extra setup hours + three extra crew members? Done in 47 minutes with two people
📷What actually happened on set today:
• Blocked the shot traditionally first
• Fed the exact framing + actor movement into the tool
• Generated 8 real-time variations while we were still rolling

Day 2 📝 6 AM this morning I sat down with the script and did the thing every director fears: I cut 14 pages that AI can now handle in post. It felt brutal. But the $68k VFX line item just vanished
📷How I decided what to cut:
• Anything that was pure visual spectacle with no emotional payoff → AI
• Crowd or background action that didn’t move the plot → AI
• Any reshoot insurance → AI The remaining script is tighter and the budget just got 11% lighter. Screenwriters & directors: What’s one scene or sequence you’re still protecting with your life that you secretly know AI could replace tomorrow? Be honest. Reply with the scene type (VFX heavy? Dialogue? Crowd?) and I’ll reply with exactly how I handled the same gut-check on my current script — including the prompt library I built for it.
