👋 Hey everyone!
We know that learning #FunctionalProgramming is challenging. To help #FP newcomers, we wrote a blog post about *totality* — one of the fundamental FP concepts.
👇 Check it out, if you are curious about learning some FP basics!

Huge thanks to everyone who is still around💜
We are back with a big one!
🚀Summoner 2.2.0.0 is finally here with major GHC upgrades and lots of improvements to configs and generated projects!
If you have been waiting, now is the time to try it✨

Enjoyed this nice read recently!
It is always great to see practical Haskell idioms shared.
Special thanks for mentioning `inverseMap` from my `relude`.
I use it a lot myself, and it is lovely to see others finding it useful too

Forgot to mention that today I found my new favourite @github template for starting #Haskell projects: @nixos_org, flakes, relude (@kowainik), HLS and @code! 🙌🏼 https://t.co/UTPdJaMgGN
Our #Haskell Style Guide has been translated to Korean by @eunmln 💫
Thanks a lot for your hard work, @eunmln, and for making Haskell accessible to more and more people 💚

At Scarf we love highlighting and using awesome open source projects.
Check out our new blog post on Relude, a safe, performant, user-friendly Haskell standard library by @kowainik we use at Scarf.

💎 Relude 1.1.0.0 (with 9.2 support) has just been released!

Thanks to all the wonderful contributors who helped to make it happen 💙
And thanks for your patience 🕊️
A bit late to the party, but switching from Protolude to Relude feels similar to when I upgraded from Prelude to Protolude!
Shoutout to @vrom911 and @ChShersh from the @kowainik team for building such an amazing prelude!
@SjurMillidahl @stianlagstad @_alpacaaa We should at least start recommending other resources and see what happens :)
Depending on the learner's preference, maybe @typeclasses's crash course, @kowainik's learn4haskell, @ChShersh's 2022 course, the wikibook, PIH, or maybe even my book will work better?
🧑🏫In January, I was teaching a #Haskell course for beginners. You can find recordings of all lectures on YouTube in the following playlist.
📜I've also added timecodes and chapters for easier navigation in each lecture.
Enjoy learning FP and Haskell🤗

Ho-ho-ho! It's Christmas time!🎄
And we have a special gift for everyone 🎁
🤶🎅 Mr and Mrs Claus kindly agreed to write the most comprehensive guide about deriving in #Haskell and share it with all Haskellers (even naughty ones)
Merry Christmas! 🥂
https://t.co/EiLLUYCPNX
📽️ My #HaskellX talk "Not My Type" about #TypeSystems is out!
There you will find info on types, #Haskell ADTs and some examples on the flexibility of how you can set up your domain model through fitting types. Enjoy! 🫖
Thanks, @skillsmatter 💚

My yesterday talk about cake-slayer — a #Haskell framework for writing the backend of web applications — is already available on YouTube! 📺
You can watch it at any convenient time if you missed the live session 🤗
@essiccf37 The `ToText` typeclass (and others in this module) are for converting between different string types, not for general conversion of any type to Text.
For the things you want, you can check the text-display package by @TechnoEmpress

🎦I'm going to speak at @FunctionalFest next Tuesday (Dec 14) about "cake-slayer" — an approach to the backend architecture of REST services written in #Haskell
🎫The meetup is free to attend!
🧵And in the thread I'll share a few highlights from my talk
