Werenski is the first defenseman in NHL history to win the Norris in a non-shortened season after missing the playoffs and not leading dmen scoring
Bouchard is the 2nd defenseman to not win the Norris after scoring 95+ points and leading scoring
Double Standards for Bouchard
The only thing I want from the NHL tonight is to identify which of the officials had it as a good goal on the ice after the conference - because the low referee sure didn't call it initially.
Ryan Poehling being so demonstrative and sure about it absolutely, 100% made that call
All the "we all know it was over the line" folks can frankly shove it. We all know the Oilers don't get a miracle goal on the ice called from four officials with zero eyes on the puck ahead of an inconclusive review. Never in a million years do the Oilers get that call on the ice
8 years ago, my Dad was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon cancer and last night he gave me the surprise of a lifetime that will go down as one of my most cherished memories on #HockeyFightsCancer night 💜
To those battling cancer, You are not alone. To those who know someone in a battle, reach out to them as they embark on life’s hardest fight; a text, a call, or a letter can make the biggest difference, even though it may seem small. My Dad is living proof that love, positivity, and support give us all the best chance to eradicate cancer.
Thank you to the entire @utahmammoth organization and the @NHL for making this possible, it’s a moment that we as a family will never forget.
There’s no one in this world I’m more proud of than my Dad, as he continues to be a beacon of hope that one day we can all say, “Hockey Beats Cancer” 💜
Trey Yesavage struck out all nine batters in the Dodgers starting lineup, becoming the third pitcher in World Series history to strike out each batter in a starting lineup, joining Randy Johnson in Game 2 of the 2001 World Series and Bob Gibson in Game 1 of the 1968 World Series
The #BlueJays have a chance to be the first team since the 2018 Boston Red Sox to win the treble:
The Golden Grapefruit, AL East, World Series.
That year, the Red Sox beat... the Dodgers.
