Es como si apenas descubrieran el fuego.

En el antiguo canon esa era la historia, reforzada con algo de material que tuvo que ser eliminado, pero en la era moderna esa sigue siendo la explicación.

A través de la trilogía Forerunner y en Point of Light, hay varios momentos que denotan justo eso. Los Forerunner y los Humanos provienen de un ancestro en común, seguramente los Forerunner evolucionaron más por algo de intervención Precursora.

Incluso (SPOILERS) una de las terminales de Campaign Evolved, menciona justamente que son hermanos ancestrales genéticos.

Es por eso que nunca he entendido por qué la comunidad arde en llamas cada que se menciona este tema. Se le han dado más capas a la narrativa, pero el trasfondo sigue igual. Solo hay que prestar más atención.
