Players: You must welcome being held accountable. “I've never coached a good player that didn't want to be coached hard. I can't name one guy that I've ever coached who's an All-Conference player, a pro at any level I've coached that didn't want us to bring it.” ~ @CoachBeardTTU

Parents of ballplayers:
⚾️Complaining about coaching decisions
⚾️Yelling at umps
⚾️Creating unnecessary drama & gossip
⚾️Putting too much pressure on your kids w/ unrealistic expectations
⚾️Being angry, bitter & constantly negative
Makes YOU the problem!!

Coaches:
If u don’t have passion/energy for what u do...
DON’T EXPECT IT FROM YOUR PLAYERS!
If u never smile/have fun...
DON’T EXPECT IT FROM YOUR PLAYERS!
If u expect them to compete/play hard for u...
COMPETE/COACH HARD FOR THEM!
Be the coach they need u to be!!

Almost 60% of all Tommy John surgeries are on KIDS ages 15-19yrs old😳!
Pretty simple fix IMO:

🤔Stop playing ⚾️ year round
🤔3 months per year w/ NO throwing
🤔Don’t play so many games

Oh yeah...Coaches don’t wear KIDS out trying to win a plastic ring!!

Coaches stop allowing these kids to run your team and coach u instead of u coaching them. They need guidance, discipline, structure,a challenge and some Tough Love! Not another friend, homey,Patna,ATM or a Mother in Fathers clothes. Be the Man that they Need Now! #CoachPrime #Truth

Congrats to North Attleboro on winning the D2 South Sectional Championship over Oliver Ames 17-2! 2 great representatives of the Hockomock League! Now it’s Franklin’s turn, finish!

[Ryan Lanigan @R_Lanigan]

Division 2 South Final will be all-Hockomock (North vs. OA), Franklin is in the Super 8 final (lowest seed to ever get there), and a second team made the Super 8 (Mansfield). I’m biased but I’d say Hockomock baseball is pretty good. #hockomock

[Trent Mongero @CoachMongero]

Four words that used by players and coaches that destroy a team..."It's not my fault."
Two more words often used that tear down accountably... “my bad.”
Great teams have players who own up to mistakes, learn from mistakes, eliminate them and don't look to pass or deflect blame.

[KP Baseball Alumni @kpbaseball]

Congrats to Jeremy Rhines Hockomock League All Star and David Morganelli Honorable Mention! Great choices by the Hock League Coaches!
