Then talked about how it COULD go on either end if you follow the changing slope pattern, but since there’s not one place, it’s like it’s not a function!

And my world was complete in that moment. I could have picked her up and swirled her around ❤️
How do you help s’s understand what a domain/range of “all real numbers” means?
Mine are super confused about what it means to have a domain that is ARN and a range that is not ARN. They asked “what is not a number?”

If a child struggles to read, we don’t send them home for a few days expecting they will come back knowing how to read. Why do we do this when a child struggles with behavior? @Jess_hannigan gets me fired up every time! #dontsuspendme

This kid MADE MY DAY. He said Mrs. P is it ok if I do that? Me: (trying not to jump for joy) Tell me what you did. S: Well I know that 5 is the sum and -2 is the addend so I wrote the addition to check to see if 7 was really the other addend. #LearnWithIM
