Community dies on May 30.
An XChat group for this community doesn’t makes sense to me, it’s been real serving this place. 🫡

I can’t tell if this community will die or not in a few days but it’s been an honor to host this platform for everyone to share their creations in the form of animation.
Again, hopefully this community won’t die but hey the head guy is making things insufferable enough.
Paramount Global Content Distribution’s website is very spotty for whether or not content is coming or not. It’s mostly for international buying for international distributors.
We’ve seen @DailyNickNews showing Dora’s renewal for Season 6. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet by Paramount. It could likely be its season split off. Then again, decisions can be reversed last.
NEW LONG FORM VIDEO: Why Cartoon Network went from 100 million homes to off the air
Back in 2011, Cartoon Network was in more than 100 million homes. It was one of the most sought-after places to work in entertainment and routinely outperformed competitors like Nickelodeon and Disney Channel. For an entire generation, it was the home of some of the most beloved animated shows ever made.
But by 2024, its audience had collapsed. Daily viewership had fallen to just 74,000 people, and the network as most people knew it effectively disappeared from the air.
And while it’s easy to blame the internet, Netflix, or YouTube for Cartoon Network’s downfall, the truth is much more complicated. The seeds of its decline were planted years before streaming ever took over.
This is the rise and fall of Cartoon Network.

@flasportsbuzz There’s a only one affiliate in the region that can pick up those games in the mass, specifically WHDT, which has Panther games already.
Very confusing language is going around that Paramount is forced to sell either Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network globally.
The real answer is when the EU issues those terms and conditions, where they'll ask for some of the kids' channels to be divested. Still, the EU can only dictate those decisions in the EU, nowhere else.
Even so, it'll likely just be EU networks like Cartoonito. Boing, and most likely Cartoon Network's division there (given Nickelodeon's presence with Peppa Pig), would be sold. Or they could do what Paramount already started doing internationally: shut down most of them.

The Among Us series was supposed to be shopped around by CBS Studios for another streaming service to pick it up. Clearly no one did and production ended 2 years ago.
It’s possible it’s another “accidental drop” by Paramount+ just after dropping Season 7 of The Oval, removing it, then giving it a proper release there and on BET. But then again, The Ark animated series from 2024 was also shadow dropped with no promotion.
