Meet the inspiration behind my latest two-painting project — my amazing hairdresser, who’s also Crystal Marché, a spectacular drag performer and former Empress of the Imperial Sovereign Court of Spokane.

Check out my latest painting! It was inspired by a photo taken by Jake Brass. It took some serious hunting but I managed to contact him for permission to use his photo as a reference. I'm so grateful to him and excited to share my rendition off his work. https://t.co/YpGjKv1DZJ
I’m so excited to share that I’ve won my first juried show with this painting titled: Edge of Day an 18 x 24 acrylic on cradled wood featuring bright colors, impasto, and glazing techniques.

My art is now on display at Pottery Place Plus in Spokane! I'm looking forward to sharing my work with the community and working alongside the gifted artists at the gallery. If you're in the area, please stop by and check out all the amazing work available there.
I’m going to call this painting “Memories” in honor of my mother who once had a job gathering it. I love painting yarrow flowers. That love was a seed planted in my childhood and is truly a gift from a mother I adore.
I've recently taken a couple of painting classes from Janene Grende with my son. If you are curious, you can read more about it at: https://t.co/QAiQg8qDDd
I recently submitted some of my artwork to the Courageously Creative Fine Art Show in Leavenworth, WA and had a piece selected! My painting, Hiding Poppies (10 x 10 acrylic on cradled wood), will be for sale at the show April 25 - 27th.

One of the 221 Featherweights I purchased came with a case that smelled so bad I couldn’t bring it inside. It was either restore or trash it. I’m restoring it! I’ve taken it down to the wood and treated the mold with white vinegar. Now I get to learn how to recover it. Good times
