another example is episode 1 with the petrification magic Coco traced from the book. those had smaller seals inside but it only activated after she closed the outer ring.

also, in episode 5 of the anime, they only had to close the big ring to activate the serpent's bed of sand despite having multiple smaller wallbreaker spells inside (which i presume they closed after placing it inside the bigger seal)
