I have 2 good boys and a bad ass wife. I find solutions, MacGyver, Knight Rider Magnum PI were my influencers. Fight for wins, accept and learn from losses.
My first go at Cowboy candy. I had a bunch of Serranos jalapeños and Sriracha peppers from last year. I need to use these up before the new crop comes in.
@Grok is getting so much better with these images/labels, It only took me 10 attempts to get it right I’ve still got a little bit of AI gibberish on the label, but I’m not worried about it.
The relocation is working. Saves me from bringing in a truck load of mulch. Going forward I will start in the western sun and move to the shaded sun when the heat becomes stupid. Pollination in TLH is my next issue. Tired of doing it by hand. @TDOnline
Moved my home pepper plants from the front of the house and its western sun to the shaded eastern sun on the back of my house yesterday. Plants already perked up. Hopefully this helps with the blooms that have been falling off.
Hand water or build new drip irrigation setup?
I asked my boys who I am sure have spent more time in the outdoors than the “Scientist” on record. Both said gnats are as bad or worst in TLH this year compared to SW GA. Both areas have experienced drought but SW GA has had more of a rain recovery recently.
I have large gardens in both areas. There are NO pollinators/good bugs in TLH this year. It has been shocking. I am having to hand pollinate in TLH not SW GA. #wherehavethegoodbugsgone
Tancig said. "What you are seeing is that people are doing extra watering and irrigating more than usual because its dry and they want to keep their plants and yard looking good”
That is retarded. These gnats are common in S GA every year. They have come South. Watering your grass does not create a gnat problem. Killing/Spraying their predators causes them to get unchecked. Do you see many dragon flies around? Purple martins? Etc. Good insects are being wiped out.
Do better @TDOnline

My 12 yr old was on the Weedwhacker for 4 hours. Didn’t complain didn’t bitch didn’t whine. Figured out how to repo his own string. Fill up his own gas tank. Start his own equipment. My 15yr old, as usual excelled on the mower. Finally, I see the ROI on having damn good kids.
Orchard update. Even though I only have one pear tree that loaded due to the March 18th freeze.
Hopefully next year all the trees will be loaded with fruit.
Made 4 new hot sauces today. Hot! Great flavor. My hands are still burning. Should have worn gloves.
Going to start passing out to my testing crews tomorrow. I need to use up last years peppers. New plants are loaded with fruit.
