1/3 I truly do not know how to express what #innerengineering has done to me but I can try to give an example. Earlier I would have shrugged it off even if I saw someone suffering but now tears well up just thinking of anyone needing help. @InnrEngineering#MyInnerEngineering

Inner Engineering is an opportunity to discover a different way of being: where clarity, balance, and inner joy become the basis from which you engage with life. Inner Engineering is not a philosophy or a teaching; it is a living process that lays the foundation for your mental and physical health, and opens up the possibility of transcending all limitations.

Tears of devotion. Rhythms of ecstasy. Moments of profound stillness. Guru Purnima at Isha Yoga Center unfolded in Sadhguru's presence. A day where every breath became an offering, every celebration an expression of gratitude, and the opportunity to offer Guru Pooja to a living Guru, a sacred privilege beyond measure.

A rose plant may have a thousand thorns and only one flower, yet we still call it a rose plant because that flower, though it lasts only a few days, somehow becomes more significant than all the roots, leaves, stems, and thorns that sustain it.
Similarly, it is because of the work that you see me. Without the work, if I were simply walking down the street, how many people would recognize who I am? Someone would have to tell them a story first. That story is the work. If that story does not become bigger and bigger, people will miss the whole possibility.
Any number of enlightened beings have come. All were equally glorious. But not all of them were equally effective in the world, simply because they did not have the money or the muscle to move things.
If you have been touched by something and you think it is wonderful, you must ensure that it reaches a million other people. If you have any love in your heart, you must make this happen. Otherwise, what is the point?
For me, your hearts and tears matter most. But for this work to happen, your hands are far more important. At least one hand should go into this work. If both hands are already entangled somewhere else, then grow a third hand.
I will take care of the spiritual aspects, but you must take care of the work in the world. When you learn to keep your own ideas, emotions, thoughts, and opinions aside and do what is needed in the world, that itself is a spiritual process, because spirituality is fundamentally about keeping yourself aside.
Work and activity are easy ways to dissolve yourself. Simply sitting here, being aware, and dissolving yourself may still be far away for you—but through activity, you can easily dissolve yourself. That is why there is activity.
If you think this is worthwhile, while I am still around for a few more years, pitch your life into it and make it happen. If you think it is not worthwhile, that is fine with me. I am not complaining that people are not doing this or that. But if you do not do what you truly believe is worthwhile, you will waste your life, and that bothers me.
If you have any sense in your head, then whatever you truly feel is worthwhile, you should devote your life to it. Otherwise, what is the point of living here.
Guru Purnima, 1/2.
🔥𝗦𝗮𝗱𝗵𝗴𝘂𝗿𝘂🔥: In the spiritual traditions of the East, Guru Purnima has been revered across Yogic, Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain traditions alike. All of them have held it as a deeply valuable day. I never had the privilege of doing a Guru Pooja for my Guru.
For the last 12 to 15 hours, I have been in a bit of a daze as I slowly look at this: more and more things point toward my partner being an alien. Shiva is my 50-percent partner—not because he does anything. He does nothing. I do 100 percent of the work. He only signals which way to turn. Just for that simple direction, he gets 50 percent. The driving is all mine, but he has been wonderful with me.
Shiva’s presence has been a living reality for me in everything I do in my life. I have always lived, experienced, and understood myself as just a small extension of him. So am I an alien?
For every other being we speak of—Rama, Krishna, or any other—we know their childhood and their end. Only with Shiva, we know neither his childhood nor his end. When people first saw him, he was a youth. No childhood, no old age. We say he is a swayambhu—self-created. Even his abode, Kailash, is a completely different space. The mountain is merely his summer residence.
After the completion of Dhyanalinga, I had planned to leave. My plans went wrong because I have always been a fool for love. I always told myself that I would never go soft in my head. In the heart I have always been soft, but not in the head. Yet there were certain moments in my life when I did.
What was planned in a previous lifetime and executed with perfection in this lifetime involved not just my life, but many lives around me—people involved with me and people against me. I planned all their lives: where they should be born, in which womb, how they should be, and what they should do.
Everything was planned and executed perfectly. At the last moment, I screwed up the plan because I became a little soft in my head. If you think that is a boon for you, wonderful. I am not suffering it either, so there is no problem.
I have set up my system in such a way that after I leave my physical body, I will still be around for another 80 years. Unless you do your Yoga too well and live to be 160, there is a possibility that I will not be around at the last moment of your life. But I believe that after I leave, within 80 years, all of you will be dead. I will make sure of it.
People’s tears and words are wonderful, but they must translate into every aspect of your life—not just with one person or another, but with every creature and even with inanimate things. How you touch a rock is very important. Even Shiva chose a rock for his abode[Mount Kailash].
If you can look at everything with truly loving eyes, you stand on solid ground. Love itself will not take you there—but if you stand on the bedrock of love, you can very easily be taken to the ultimate. If you are stuck in the quagmire of prejudice, it becomes very hard.
Let us say your legs are stuck in concrete. For me to wrench you out, would you be ready to leave your legs behind, or would you let go of my hand? Most people would let go of my hand. Only a few insane people would let their legs be wrenched off.
So it is very important that you stand on the bedrock of love. If you learn to look at everything with truly loving eyes, I will take care of the rest.
What matters to me is who you are, not what you do. The heart behind your actions is what counts. Property or money are not important to me, but they are necessary to do things in the world. For me personally, your hearts and tears are more valuable than money.
If you shed even one teardrop of love here, it is enough. The important thing is the heart behind it. If you take care of that one thing, I can take care of the rest.
You know me only through the work we do. In that sense, the work is more important than me, though it came out of me.
The most dominant factor of my life has been my Guru, and nothing else. Even today, in my mind, or rather literally in every crevice of my body, in every pulsation of my system, and in my very energy, it is his presence that is the most dominant within me. To keep it this way has been easy for me because I do not have a mind of my own. Probably because of this, just about everything in me reverberates in a way that is far beyond me, far bigger than me.
I did not see my Guru as a man who touched me, though his touch brought me to the highest level of experience, and a revelation of life and beyond. The old mental structure within me somewhere would not accept a human being as a Guru, because it was said that unless it comes from Adiyogi, unless it comes from Shiva himself, it is not real. So the compassion of my Master made him turn himself into the form of Shiva.
I do not know if this was his act that he turned himself into this form, or if that is how he really was at that time. But this experience has left me in a place where ever since, I do not have to make any attempt to know anything. Whatever I need to know, He [Guru] and He [Shiva] are there, all the time.

The whole world is busy trying to be better than someone else. But if one experience the profoundness within, other people's opinions will make no difference.

With innocent hearts and joyful voices, the students of Sadhguru Gurukulam Samskriti present a devotional song offering to Sadhguru on the sacred occasion of Guru Purnima—an expression of their love, gratitude, and devotion.
Moved by Sadhguru Gurukulam Samskriti students' devotional offerings, Bageshwar Dham's Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri shared his appreciation for how children are nurtured at Sadhguru Gurukulam Samskriti—a way of nurturing that goes beyond instruction, one that shapes the way life is lived. He reflected that true learning is not merely about knowing how life should be lived, but about growing in an environment where it becomes a lived reality.
"What I speak about in my discourses, the volunteers here are living it," said Bageshwar Dham Sarkar Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri after meeting Sadhguru, and exploring the powerfully consecrated spaces at Isha Yoga Center Coimbatore.
