@wanjikuTW_ Just like any other activity eg work, gym, uni, health, there are people who will work to optimise it (for reasons best known to them) and others who will do it just for fun. I don't see any form of consumerism.
Anyway our perspectives are different and that's okay.
@iamkathambi I only ever see such takes from millennial ladies. Inakaa hizi ma job zenu ni za ufala ndio unaona hata you are talking about MS Word in 2026. Low paying jobs will attract low calibre candidates even in Kenya where we have high unemployment rates.
@potentash This is the norm in any marathon the whole world. Good practice is throwing to the side of the road to prevent trip hazards and make it easier for collection.
@canceronvibes@MwenjaMuhoro When has there been an instance in men's washroom that warranted them to use the ladies? The only assault we have seen is ladies assaulting another lady. And what do you mean make it safe for them, wakiingia tunatoka ama ?
@Imonaar Never in my life have I seen a single case in kenya where a cross dresser has been assaulted in the men's washroom. I don't even remember them being chased away. In fact, the only assault I have seen is women assaulting a lady in their washroom.
Asking for clean, paved roads is not elitism.
Asking for controlled and planned development policies is not elitism.
Asking for road safety is not elitism.
Asking to save trees is not elitism.
Asking for limited billboards is not elitism.
Asking for order is NOT elitism.
@Malakisi1@AugustinGithaka Kenya provided a SEZ that had already built port infrastructure. Why can't we negotiate for a power plant ? This would have a far reaching effect in terms of jobs, manufacturing, cheaper electricty etc. Kengen has done 2GW since independence, we could add half of that in 3yrs.
@Malakisi1@AugustinGithaka The govt allocated public and Special Economic Zone (SEZ) land in Lamu County, to the Dangote Group for its $16 billion oil refinery project. This port comes with already built infrastructure unlike in Nigeria where he had to build roads, jetties, berths, pipelines etc
@Asamoh_@paulinenjoroge After the coalitions form, many people will realise that it is the same people responsible for ODM and Gen z protests/deaths who are now saying they will liberate you ๐
@ankahira The most culprits are found in South B, C and Eastleigh. The underlying factor is greed from both county officials and developers/contractors.
