The future of building startups:

- MVP speed (1x per month)
- AI-accelerated
- Superniche is the new niche
- Community 1st, software 2nd
- No-code 1st, some code 2nd
- 10x more automated
- Global teams, localized products
- 95% dominated by solopreneurs and microentrepreneurs (teams less than 12)
- Pop-up digital experiences (apps that only work on certain times)
- Needs the marketing holy-trinity to hit escape velocity: 1. product/market fit, 2. content/market fit and 3. community/market fit
- Team is half robots 🤖, half humans 👨‍🦰 (cc @youneedarobot)
- Accelerated by "boring marketing" (cc @boringmarketer)
- Multiple revenue streams
- Design matters. The bar is high
- Partnered w/ creators (creators are the distribution)
- Feels like a game (levels, status, badges, in-app currency, challenges, collectibles/items)
- Purpose-driven moonshots: societal impact matters
- Productized agencies to generate cashflow (ex design agency @DispatchDesign)
- Product studios become the norm
- 99% of MVPs won't need VC

The best parenting advice I've ever gotten.

From some of history’s greatest thinkers and parents:

[Balaji @balajis]

AI means a brilliant doctor on your phone. Who can diagnose you instantly, for free, privately, using only your locally stored medical records.

Do you think the doctors will be happy about that? Or the lawyers? The artists? The others that AI disrupts?

They’ll fight it. Hard.

THREAD: I keep being asked when we can go "back to normal" or "like it was before". My personal thoughts:

We've added a new disease to our population, more infectious and more severe than flu.

The world pre 2020 no longer exists - we may want it to, but it just doesn't. 1/13

Seneca is one of the most fascinating and complex figures in all of history. He was a beautiful thinker, a prolific writer, a thoughtful friend, a political advisor, and Stoic philosopher.

Marcus Aurelius is one of the most incredible figures in all of history. As a young boy, he was chosen and groomed to be the emperor of most of the known world. Absolute power not only didn’t corrupt, it made him better.

Diese Zuspitzung und Selbstverkürzung durch den Stern ist mir peinlich und entspricht nicht dem Zusammenhang des Interviews. Ich bin schockiert.

A message to those in our pubs and restaurants who are ignoring #COVIDー19 recommendations on social distancing. You may think you’re fit and healthy and unstoppable, but you’re jeopardising people who aren’t. Please think of them and follow the advice. We can beat this together.
