So the solution is, pause the update until you have a fully function app/website @cineworld? Allowing family and friends to book together is the basics. Non-Unlimited members can book as many seats as they want but loyal members are screwed over? Make it make sense.

Hi John, we appreciate that booking with friends and family is important to many Unlimited members. While this exact functionality will not be available at launch, we’re working on an improved solution to bring it back in future.

Our new mobile-first website and app will provide an improved overall booking experience, including faster load time, seat-first booking for a simpler checkout, an optimised app journey, and the ability to change seats up until the film starts. This means that you can move next to any other customer, subject to availability. There are more new benefits and features soon to be announced.
