Ok, so I’m horrible at @Twitter, but I don’t want the week to go by without acknowledging that I taught my very first class at @UHCOE on Monday! So excited for a semester of learning with these master’s students. I can already tell they’re going to be a fun group 🤗
Congratulations to our 2021-22 faculty award winners in the instruction category!

We’re so impressed with #ForeverCoog Krysti Turnquest (@kquest)! She has been appointed principal user experience researcher at @Optum (a business of @UnitedHealthGrp).
Turnquest earned a Ph.D. in measurement, quantitative methods and learning sciences in 2022.
More great job news in our lab: congrats to Dr.@kquest on her new position as a user experience researcher at UnitedHealth! We are also SO excited to have her come back as an adjunct @UHCOE@UH_ELPS in the fall.
Congratulations @kquest and @YasmineA89! And congratulations to the rest of the class of ‘22 who reached their goals in the face of overwhelming adversity.
Happy #BlackHistoryMonth! In case you are a White academic wanting to find more ways to support Black students in academia, I'm re-sharing the infographic that @__TMAlexander, @kquest, and I made last summer for @Academics4BSW.
Huge congratulations to @kquest for passing her dissertation proposal defense! Amazing work on the impact of noncognitive factors on transfer student success. 🎉
Dr. Margit Wiesner from our MQM-LS program discusses her new book, “Criminal Trajectories: A Developmental Perspective,” which addresses how the #juvenilejustice system can better serve juvenile offenders. https://t.co/dwlVKFO86b
