Playing without the original hardware is backward compatibility. You can own the original hardware but there’re options to play your physical game and it’s not piracy.

@LeonPlay26 Yo empece con PS3 solo tengo juegos que no están en físico, DLCs, códigos gratis de Día 1 y los juegos regalados en PS+. Pero después de las filtraciones de cuentas y caídas del servicio deje de comprar contenido y solo pagaba PS+ básico. Desde la PS5 empece a irme mas a PC.
