@culturalfatwa The NK authorities must know this is a risk. Will they send really hard-core cadres? Send political officers along to shoot people (presumably)? Use blocking battalions? It's hard to see how it could work otherwise.

@culturalfatwa Yeah the standalone episode with the raid on the house is a hell of a thing. And in fairness there a lot of great actors in the case.

@culturalfatwa I liked the first season, mostly, tbh. More or less everything where Sope Dirisu is in action (and he's a fine actor too). But there's not enough of that and the 2nd season forgets what it's for. Did like the scary dudes in back of posh cars at the end of Season 1.

@culturalfatwa Also, all ballistic missiles (especially anything that's MRBM or greater) will have very high terminal velocity simply because of how they fly. I think some reach very high mach numbers during boost and presumably keep much of that on landing (some lost to air I guess).

@culturalfatwa Not sure. Obviously the kinetic energy is very high but they're still designed to deliver explosives and I think that's what's really supposed to do damage. Some missiles use the kinetic energy for bunker penetration of course with later explosion in bunker.

@culturalfatwa Oh sure, amazing tech etc. But they are all about accuracy from terminal guidance (CEP and all that) since that affects whether they actually do damage, especially to hardened target. Maybe no GPS? Maybe jamming? One of their missiles does have some sort of post-boost thing.

@culturalfatwa Yeah Al Jazeera were good last night (and I love their pointed "Israel kicked us out in case you think only autocracies do that"). Had a very chilling commentator on who pointed out the logical escalation path for Iran is to hit Saudi and other oil and knacker the global economy.

@culturalfatwa It's interesting that the missiles seem to be relatively inaccurate if the one that landed near Mossad HQ is evidence. Wonder if that's really the case and if so, why.
