If there was any one thing that ever defined me, it was this, that a very unprepared young me found, unattended in a library. I've suffered and surmounted over this, but never becoming who this shaped. Difficulty tempers us. Revel in each opportunity to surpass yesterday's you.
Man, I'd love if the hobbies and interests I have would calm the fuck down and stop tearing themselves apart for a scrap of social clout and attention.
That would be nice.
But I guess nice things are too controversial now.
I refuse to even pretend 'cloud gaming' is even an option. A subscription model that relies on your internet to even play a single player experience?
Building GPU scarcity to sell a subscription solution, while playing M$ games to boost your AI viability? Cute.
Denied.
Hey @PlayStation, just so we're clear, I'm not paying your "We failed" tax, that's basically been every decision in 2026 about your pricing.
"Play stupid games, win stupid prizes" is a little too apt here, I think. Keep your walled garden. It's rotting anyway.
So tell all the game publishers foaming at the mouth for GTA6 to be 80$USD or more so the gates open for you to do the same...
Are you ready to be judged on that bar? Because once that becomes the standard, are you sure you want to be in that shadow?
Going to do some social errands, and my only issue is that I can't slum around for food like a raccoon on vacation. Have to go with them to something more normal.
C'mon, what if I actually want Chipotle maybe once a year?
The amount of fatherless, "I stopped developing socially and emotionally in highschool" behavior going on in the Vtuber scene is disgusting.
It's enough to make a person regret the affiliation.
We should've walled the garden more. Maybe with razor wire.
Re-walling the single-player garden, while keeping the live-service slop-shoveling on PC is a tactical profit move, nothing more.
Sony bet poorly on live service, so the customers need to open their wallets and keep the C-suite bonuses rolling in.
Sony;
Invests 3.6 bn in Bungie. 1.2 bn of marked for employee retention.
2025 losses due to devaluation of Destiny 2 reported in November; 204 m.
Player count loss since July 2025 - 91% rumored
Concord and Firewalk; total loss, approx 400 m
Yeah, sure. RAM prices are why.
GTA 6 will (maybe this time?) release in late 2026, but initially only on consoles. With PS dominating the console market, and needing to bandaid and arterial bleed, the easy option is to raise console prices early, so the uptick isn't seen as immediately preemptive.
Corporations need to be given IQ tests before being considered entities because holy fuck "room temperature" would be a massive improvement. I swear some would make my fridge look balmy.
"Why is gaming failing?"
Live service gaming, the current golden goose, is an investment in time and trust.
You treat games like stocks that need to be invested in, yet deride 'investors' checking the charts that show how trustworthy that decision is.
Sow, and reap, you clowns.
I'm tired of people using kids as a straw man for compromising privacy, so you know what?
Let's stop fucking around.
Kernel level pedophile detection. Cut out the problem at the root.
So, let's see the hands. Don't you want to protect kids? Don't you?!
So, AI bros, where's all those benefits? Where's the uplift?
Prices for consumer tech are ruined for years, the job market is unsteady at best, your bubble is going to murder the economy.
Make it fucking make sense. Generate some sense, maybe.
